Knopf Live & Acoustic at Bela Loko Baden
A Songwriter’s Lounge with a Swiss twist; Knopf will bring the warmth to early spring.
Let’s give a warm welcome to Knopf, a seasoned artist who blends the long dirt roads of America, with the his Swiss herritage and the beauty all around him. Knopf radiates calm, and he sings songs that captivate the listener with their melancholy harmonies and invite them to dream.
Inspired by the forests, mountains, and a secluded way of life, his songs become more harmonious over time as the stories and narratives become part and parcel with the melody. The music is more reduced, more direct, and more honest, which is how the EP “Fireplace Tapes” was created, which he will be sharing with us under the arches.
A fireplace, acoustic guitar and voice, a single room microphone and a single camera, these are the basic conditions of KNOPF’s new EP “Fireplace Tapes”. A handful of songs for a cozy evening in the living room, or a long-overdue dance in the warmth.
In March, Knopf will bring the songs to the stage along with short stories. Stories from stages in Nashville, C.F.Martin & Co Factory in Nazareth, PA, and participation in a songwriter workshop in upstate New York.
