Charity Christmas Carol Singing
It’s time to spread some Christmas cheer, collect for those less fortunate and sing for our supper!
Since moving here from England 4 1/2 years ago I have loved Adventzeit in Switzerland, but I still miss Carol Singing and a sense of charity at Christmas. So, next week, in conjunction with the fabulous Trudelkeller in Baden, She Interacts brings you a proper community get-together, and all you need is a small donation and a willingness to sing (or at least pretend to!). Our wonderful doctor and friend Ingrid Paur will accompany us on the E-Piano, and we will send some songs by email in advance to get you in the mood.
We will provide Delicious Soup, Mulled Wine, and Traditional British Mince Pies. For those of you who haven’t tried them, they are small, sweet, fruity and very Christmassy.. no meat anywhere near them!
As for the collection, we are supporting the DAO Frauenhaus in Aargau for women and children fleeing crisis and abuse. Rather than presents, the organisation is crying out for useful kitchen items such as glasses, mugs, cutlery, crockery, or tea towels. They would also appreciate candles as something to help the women feel calm and well in their new housing. If physical donations are tricky, there will also be an opportunity to donate either cash or via a QR code to Pro Juventute, an organisation that works with vulnerable children in Switzerland. 10% of the takings from the night will also go towards these charities.

Tickets: 30Fr- Adults inc. soup, mulled wine & a mince pie, 10 Fr- children inc. soup & a mince pie or marshmallows to toast.
Time: from 6 to 9:30pm (please drop in at any point)

Soup is GF & Vegetarian and GF pies will be available per request so please let us know any dietary requirements.
Entrance will be with Covid Certificate or proof of a negative test on the day, please.
